FILL YOUR BUCKET LIST FOUNDATION TO HOLD COOK-OFF AT ANNUAL GALA

MORRISVILLE, N.C. – This Saturday, April 23, the Fill Your Bucket List Foundation will hold its 2nd Annual Bucket Bash at The Chef’s Academy in Morrisville, North Carolina, to raise money to grant wishes for adults with cancer. The Fill Your Bucket List Foundation is a nonprofit based out of Cary, North Carolina, that grants wishes to low-income adults with cancer from all over the United States. The fundraising goal for this year’s Bucket Bash is $100,000.

WHAT:                       An evening of great food, dancing, a silent auction and a cook-off between talented local chefs. Tickets are $75 per person, and all proceeds go toward funding a wish for a cancer patient.

WHO:                         Mitch Samples, chef instructor and purchasing manager at The Chef’s Academy; Eddie Wilson, executive chef at NC State’s Talley Student Union; Eric Gephart, chief culinary officer at Kamado Grille; and Ron Salerno, food and beverage director at Concord Hospitality Enterprises.

WHEN:                       The charity event will take place Saturday, April 23, 2016, from 6-10 p.m. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online at https://bucketbash.auction-bid.org/micro2.php.

Scheduled activities for the evening:

6:00 p.m.         Check-in; silent auction opens

6:30 p.m.         Buffet begins; cook-off begins in The Chef’s                                                 Academy

8:00 p.m.         Presentation of past wish recipients; bidding for auction

8:30 p.m.         Silent auction closes; DJ begins

10:00 p.m.       Final item collection from auction; farewell

WHERE:                     The Chef’s Academy Campus is located at 2001 Carrington Mill Blvd., Morrisville, North Carolina. Valet parking will be available in the rear of the building.
